At 17, Andy began his professional music career with three years as a tuba player in the Band of the Royal Artillery. However he soon moved on to become an accomplished and versatile guitarist/vocalist/songwriter.
He has worked with artists that include; Dolly Parton, The Detroit Emeralds, The Trammps, Tina Charles, Jim Diamond, Pete Sinfield ( King Crimson ),Phil Manzanera ( Roxy Music ), Andy McKay(Roxy Music ), John Wetton ( Asia ), Scott Gorham ( Thin Lizzy ), Eric Stuart ( 10cc ), Geoff Downes ( Asia ), Tony Hadley, Roger Taylor ( Queen ), John Beck & Bob Dalton ( It Bites ), Gary Tibbs (Roxy Music, Adam and the Ants )and Manny Elias ( Tears for Fears, Julian Lennon ).
As solo performer he recently supported Bill Wymans Rhythm Kings.
